snowflake je napisao/la:

They are almost synonyms.
To smell is the most neutral in style.
All of them mean to perceive something using the sense of smell.
But, a scent can also mean to pick up a trail (of an animal by a dog).
I would use odor exclusively as a bad smell, stink, although dictionaries say it can have the meaning of a neutral smell.
Fragrance is something that smells pleasantly, the derived meaning of the word is perfume.

Fragrance and scent are a little bit higher in style.
Especially if you aren't a native speaker.

Ministry of Sound je napisao/la:
Scent, other than the trail focused - "the hounds picked up his scent", generally also has pleasant connotations (eg Scent of a woman).

There is also "aroma", which refers to more esoteric and exotic scents, but it is generally used in the context of food and beverages.

Thank you for the answers. :palacgore2

What's the differences or an accurate use of the verbs below? How to shade these verbs, using them in an everyday conversation?

shine
beam
glitter
glisten
glare
glimmer
sparkle
shimmer
flicker
twinkle
glint
glister
gleam

Putting the words into a sentence:

shine: Don't forget to shine your shoes. He shines on the football field.
beam: The beam of light was directed into space. The boy sat on the beam.
glitter: The little girl sprinkled glitter on her drawing.
glisten: The hood ornament glistened in the sun
glare: The glare from the sun whilst he drove his car was too much that he had to put glasses on. Stop glaring at that girl.
glimmer: There was a glimmer of hope that he would succeed in his endeavour.
sparkle: She had a sparkle in her eye. (Can be swapped over with glisten)
shimmer: Her dress shimmered when the light hit it (can be swapped over with sparkle)
flicker: The stars flicker in the night sky
twinkle: Twinkle, twinkle, little star (nursery rhyme)
glint: (I've never used this word nor have I found it in common use, not to say you can't use it but it appears that you're looking at synonyms)
glister: (I've never used this word nor have I found it in common use, if you want to put it into sentence I recommend: http://dictionary.reference.com/ )
gleam: (I've never used this word nor have I found it in common use, if you want to put it into sentence I recommend: http://dictionary.reference.com/ )

Thanks man. I appreciate this. :palacgore2 My intention was to shade above-mentioned verbs by intensity and steadiness of light and brightness. You've managed it.

I think the all three formulations are correct. Though, in the meeting sounds you're really involved in that certain meeting. Like... "Don't disturb me, I'm in the meeting. Call me later.", compared to "Hi, I'm at the meeting, what's on your mind?

At and in are both OK.

Also: "the meeting" - only use it if a person you're talking to knows exactly which meeting you're referring to. If they don't then it's just "a meeting".

In English you have a lot of pairs like this.
You can say, for example, in/at school, in/at hospital, in/at museum
Having said that, there is a slight difference in meaning.

If you say at (the) hospital, you are emphasizing the institution, if you are in (the) hospital, the accent is on the building.

If you say I'm at the Museum, you may or may not be in the building (yet), but you are here to see the exhibition.
If you say in the Museum, that means in the building.

Also, if you are a patient at the hospital, you must use at.

So, at (the) hospital means sb. is in an institution and/or a patient.
in (the) hospital means that sb. emphasizes the building.

Lastly, there is a difference between BE and AE concerning the usage of these phrases.

(I'm) At the meeting = (Ja) sam kod meeting. Znaci da si kod meeting, cekas da poceme. Ili mozes rec jja ja sam u meeting sutra (I'll be at the meeting tomorrow)

(I'm) On the meeting = (Ja) sam na meeting. Nebi to nikad reko, doesn't make sense. zaboravi za ovo.

(I'm) In the meeting = (Ja) sam u meeting. Znaci da se dogada sada i da si u meeting. na primjer sjedis u meeting i mobitel ti zvoni i javis se i kazes ja nemogu pricati sada radi sam u meeting. I can't talk now I'm in a meeting.

hopefully to ti pomogne ako ti treba jos samo pitaj.

What's the best phrase in English to say:

Citat:
Izvršiti dokapitalizaciju

"Perform recapitalization" maybe?

Citat:
Unijeti objekt/opremu u kapital

I have no idea for this phrase.

Can you give me a sentence in which you wish to use it?

Eg. The government of Greece will recapitalize it's banking sector.

or

Bank XYZ will conduct a capital raising to increase it's T1 capital ratio.[/quote]

Citat:
Unijeti objekt/opremu u kapital

Not sure as I haven't seen it used in a real-life situation, so I don't think there is an accepted term that captures that

Best guess would be: "Asset contribution".

Citat:
In an asset contribution, company B contributes a portion of its Assets (and Liabilities) to company A in Return for Shares issued by company A. An asset contribution is an All-share transaction. Also called a Contribution of assets or Transfer of assets.

Thank you for being so kind. It's a very precise translate, in my opinion. Thank you once again.

Just one thing, if this poslovni objekt is nekretnina, than it is real estate.

If it is something else, than it should be business entity.

In that case, just change this part after through... and change it with (another business entity).

But I think this should be it.
You are welcome.

During the course of 2014 the firm was recapitalised through an asset contribution (ili ako oš bit fensi: an asset for equity swap). The firm's owner transferred a real-estate asset from his personal holdings onto the company balance sheet.
