KURZ NAJAVIO: Austrija će zabraniti nošenje burki i uvesti društveno koristan rad za izbjeglice

Austrijski ministar vanjskih poslova Sebastian Kurz danas se izjasnio za zakonsko uvođenje zabrane nošenja burki i uvođenje korisno društvenoga rada za izbjeglice.

Te promjene ministar Kurz planira unijeti u novi Zakon o integraciji koji je u pripremi.

Nošenje burki Kurz uopće ne smatra isticanjem vjerskog simbola već znakom “paralelnog društva” koje Austrija ne misli tolerirati migrantima.

Kurz planira uvesti takozvane “poslove za jedan euro” za izbjeglice, a tko ne pristane raditi društveno korisne poslove, imat će smanjenu državnu socijalnu pomoć.

Ministar misli da je vrlo važno zaposliti izbjeglice jer, kazao je, “tko ne radi ima vremena razmišljati o glupim stvarima”./HMS/

Austria could be set to force refugees to do menial work for 87p an hour - or risk losing state handouts from the government.
Foreign minister Sebastian Kurz said many asylum seekers were 'illiterate' and should be made to carry out mandatory community jobs to help integrate them into society.
They would be required to work between 15 and 30 hours a week for just one euro an hour on work like street cleaning and municipal gardening, Kurz said.
He is now calling on coalition partners of his right-wing OVP party to support the proposals when a bill comes before parliament.
Left-wing parties in the wealthy Alpine state have branded the scheme as 'one step away from slave labour'.
Kurz told a press conference: 'It was reported last year that many refugees are highly-skilled, but in fact many are not.

'Among those from Afghanistan alone, there are many that are illiterate.'
The Minister has also proposed sanctions for refugees who do not attend German language or 'Austrain values' courses, and has also said a ban on full face veils is under consideration.

His comments follow a major report released by the Foreign Ministry outlining the number of migrants and refugees in Austria.
The released figures show there were 1.8 million people in Austria with migrant backgrounds in 2015, 100,000 more than the previous year.
Kurz confirmed the number of asylum applications in 2015 was 88,340.
He said that how successfully migrants integrate into Austrian society would depend on how many people in total there are to integrate and said he wants to see a reduction in the number of people coming to Austria.

He said: 'We need a jolt to bring people as quickly as possible into the labour market or any other form of employment.'
Denmark sparked controversy earlier this year when it approved a scheme to confiscate migrants' cash and possessions of over 1,000 pounds in value to finance their upkeep while they seek asylum.
The proposals were severely criticised by the United Nations as well as international media, where they were compared to the treatment of Jews in Nazi Germany.

Austrian Chancellor Christian Kern has hit out at the EU Commission chief for still courting Turkey for eventual membership, arguing that this ignores Ankara’s drifting away from the union. Instead there should be a “new form” of relations, Kern said.
“The negotiation process, which is considered a panacea for Turkey getting closer ties with Europe, has not brought exactly anything,” Kern said in an interview with the Oesterreich newspaper on Saturday.

The official lashed out at the EU commission chief, Jean-Claude Juncker, saying that such tactics will yield no results.

“If anyone, as Juncker does, promises to the Turks that we will conduct talks with you and at the same moment says that Turkey will not join in any case, then it is not a reasonable stance in regard to either Turks or Europeans.”

In early August, Kern, a staunch opponent of Turkey’s EU membership, said Ankara’s accession to the bloc is a “diplomatic fiction” and cannot become reality “within the coming decades.”

Back then, the official also demanded the EU countries discuss the suspension of membership talks.

In the immediate reaction to the move, Juncker claimed the decision should be taken “by all members” and labeled the potential suspension a “severe mistake in foreign policy.”

Yet, at the same the Commission chief said that “Turkey in the current situation cannot become a member of the Union.” Potential introduction of death penalty was one of the key reasons cited by the eurocrat. Turkey vowed to bring back the measure following a foiled coup on July 15.

Kern on Saturday countered that officials in Brussels simply ignore concerns of the people, including those of Austria.

“If you sit in Brussels in the Commission building, one naturally has a different perspective than if you speak with the people [on the street],” Kern said, referring to the fallout of EU opening borders to Turkey.

Kern, however, said that Turkey will still remain a partner for the EU in areas like refugees and security and that he “would not want to lose” Ankara in that regard.

“We simply need a new form of cooperation,” the chancellor added.

Following the coup in Turkey, Luxembourg’s foreign Minister Jean Asselborn also vowed to “keep the door open” for Turkey to enter the EU. He insisted that it was important to think about the people in the country, who “set lots of hope into the European Union”.

The view was countered by the Austrian Foreign Minister Sebastian Kurz in an interview to the German Focus on August 16.

“We must not give in to blackmailing and we do not need a Plan B, but a solid Plan A. We need a strong Europe that protects its own external borders,” Kurz said, referring to European concerns that Ankara might suspend refugee deal with the EU.

He also said that the bloc should not cave in to pressure from Turkey to introduce visa-free travel with the country.

In June, Turkey once again warned it will hold a referendum on whether to press on for EU accession, unless there is progress in negotiations on visa-free travel with the bloc. The comments were the reaction to earlier calls by Juncker for Turkey to fulfill “all of the 72 conditions for lifting the visa requirement.”

A leading Austrian politician has called on Muslim mothers to avoid covering their daughters attending kindergarten with headscarves as this suggests they are sex objects.

Anja Hagenauer, deputy mayor of Salzburg claimed the head covering degrades the children because it suggests they have been sexualised.

Hagenauer stressed she was not seeking a legal ban on headscarves and instead was issuing an 'urgent recommendation' against the practice.

She told state broadcaster ORF that forcing young girls to wear a headscarf suggests that they 'are looked at by men in a lustful way'.

Hagenauer said she would not ban 'something religious', but claimed the city's office for minors could be contacted to exert pressure on any parents ignoring her advice.

A city in Austria has mandated a curfew for underage migrants after a series of sex attacks at a festival over the past few days and has essentially put the migrants under house arrest.
The sexual assaults at the Welser Volksfest wine and beer festival have provoked sharp reactions from the city administration in the Austrian city of Wels. The city has decided that all migrants in the asylum homes in the city must return to their accommodation by 8pm and remain there until the morning. The city hopes that the move will prevent further sex attacks at the festival which lasts until the end of the week reports Kurier.

According to authorities at least eight women were sexually assaulted at the festival earlier in the week. The police say that all the attackers were asylum seekers from Afghanistan. The five Afghan men aged 15 to 16 are said to have groped the women’s breasts and tried to put their hands up their skirts in one of the beer tents at the event.

In reaction to the attacks the mayor of Wels, a member of the anti-mass migration Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ), said that in the aftermath of the attacks he would employ a “zero tolerance” policy toward the underage migrants. Taking to social media the mayor said that there would be serious consequences for any migrants who had sexually assaulted women in his city.

Vice mayor Gerhard Kroiss, also of the FPÖ, echoed the statements of the mayor and said that all the asylum homes have a duty to make sure they know where the young men under their care are and what they are doing. He said it was the responsibility of the homes to enact “preventative measures” to ensure the safety of women in the town.

Migrant sex attacks at various public festivals have become rampant since the mass attacks that occurred on New Year’s Eve in Cologne. The countries most affected by the attacks are Germany, Austria and Sweden. The cases have skyrocketed since the start of the summer.

In June at a festival in Darmstadt, Germany at least 18 girls, described as being “very young” were molested by asylum seekers. The sex attacks were repeated in July in Bremen where there were at least 24 cases of sexual assault by migrants at a music festival.

Some cities have tried to beef up security and police to tackle the rampant crime but it has seemingly little effect. In Sweden last month, the number of sexual assault cases had doubled, despite the extra security employed.

Later this month the largest festival in Europe, Oktoberfest, begins in Munich and some fear that the cases of sexual assault could repeat there on a much larger scale and authorities are also concerned about potential terror attacks leading to a proposal to ban backpacks from the event entirely.

Austrian Pool Forces Burkini Wearer To Leave

A swimming pool in the Austrian capital of Vienna has stoked controversy by forcing a Muslim woman wearing the Islamic swimwear known as the burkini to leave the facility.
The Vienna Stadthallenbad swimming pool forced a Muslim woman to leave their pool on Friday after they said that her swimwear was inappropriate.

The woman, wearing the sharia-approved swimwear known as the burkini, is said to have been told to get out of the pool because the cotton garment did not meet the hygiene standards of the facility, reports Kronen Zeitung.

The woman involved claims that the pool had discriminated against her because she was a Muslim and not because her burkini was against any standards of hygiene. She also claimed that the swimwear was not made of cotton as the swimming pool had claimed, but rather was made out of the same fabric as all swimwear which is usually either lycra, polyester, or nylon.

A spokesman from the sports centre, Manfred Faly, said that there was no specific ban on the burkini in Vienna saying, “burkinis are basically all right – as long as it meets the hygiene and safety standards”. He insisted that any swimsuit must be made of a material that is both water resistant and dries quickly. Mr. Faly said that cotton isn’t a material that would meet those two standards.

The Stadthallenbad isn’t the first Austrian swimming pool to have banned the Islamic garment. The Lower Austrian township of Hainfeld banned the burkini after a local Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) councillor made the request also citing safety and hygiene concerns.

Ispovijest ubice za volanom Alena Rizvanovića: Osjećam se kao žrtva

U utorak će početi suđenje Alenu Rizvanoviću, porijeklom iz BiH, koji je u suludom pohodu u centru Graza u Austriji u junu prošle godine ubio troje, a povrijedio 34 ljudi.

Austrijski "Kronen Zeitung" uoči ovog suđenja objavio je životnu priču Rizvanovića, koji je rekao da se danas osjeća kao žrtva. Tvrdi da je odrastao u teškoj porodičnoj situaciji, da nije imao prijatelje, te da je bio neuspješan u poslu i imao probleme sa ženama.

Govoreći o kobnom danu, kazao je da se on nije razlikovao od prethodnih, da je toga dana bio pospan jer je prethodne noći dugo bio na internetu... Tokom saslušanja je rekao da se u Grazu toga dana trebao sresti sa djevojkom koju je upoznao na internetu, no ona je vjerovatno bila plod njegove mašte.

Psihijatri imaju različita mišljenja u vezi s njim, da pati od šizofrenije, odnosno da se samo pretvara.

Alen Rizvanović je rođen 17. marta 1989. godine u Bihaću. Otac mu je vozač, a majka trgovac. Alen tvrdi da ima traume jer je sa porodicom morao izbjeći iz BiH tokom rata. Rekao je da se u igri sa djecom u Austriji osjećao kao autsajder, jer su ga izbjegavali, te je većinu vremena provodio igrajući igrice u kući.

Komšije, međutim, za Rizvanoviće kažu da su oni "komšije iz pakla". Za Alena kažu da je bio povučen, ali agresivan, dok Krone Zeitung navodi da je njegov IQ čak 132, ali je bez obzira na to imao problema da završi srednju školu.

Alen navodi da mu nikad niko nije pružio šansu i da ga je opterećivalo to što je usamljen. Radio je u čak 11 firmi, a nigdje se nije dugo zadržao zbog lošeg ponašanja. Austrijankama se, kaže, nije sviđao, pa je potražio djevojku iz BiH.

Tvrdi da ga je supruga s kojom ima dvoje djece prihvatila, kao i ostale djevojke iz BiH, samo zato što je mislila da je bogat. Svijet oko sebe je mrzio sve više te je danonoćno igrao igrice, ali je i zlostavljao suprugu koja ga je napustila i otišla u sigurnu kuću nekoliko sedmica prije njegovog smrtonosnog pohoda u Grazu.

Suđenje Alenu Rizvanoviću: Bošnjak izjavom zaprepastio sudije, ali i sve u sudnici

Na sudu u austrijskom gradu Grazu danas je počelo suđenje Alenu Rizvanoviću, koji je u manijačkom pohodu automobilom usmrtio tri osobe u prijestolnici Styrie.

Rizvanović se na sudu pojavio u sniježno bijelom odjelu, te je iznenadio sve u sudnici izjavom da nije kriv, te da se radilo o nesretnom slučaju.

Sudija se nije složio s njim, nakon čega je uslijedila pauza koju su tražili advokati odbrane.

Alen je potom u izjavi pred sudom kazao kako se kobnog dana uspaničio kada je čuo pucnjeve, te da je izgubio kontrolu nad vozilom, uslijed čega je usmrtio tri i povrijedio oko 100 osoba.

Kada ga je tužilac pitao kako se osjeća jer je, između ostalih, usmrtio i četverogodišnje dijete, Alen Rizvanović je rekao samo: Izvinjavam se zbog toga.

Alen je potom rekao kako je mislio da niko neće poginuti zbog njegove ludačke vožnje, ali mu je sudija Andreas Rome na to poručio:

"Mogu vam možda vjerovati neke stvari, ali to zaista ne mogu".

Drugog sudiju, Evu Cesnik, zanimala je predhodna izjava Alena Rizvanovića u kojoj on tvrdi da nije musliman, već kršćanin.

"Ja imam informacije da ste vi musliman, ali vi ste nedavno dali izjavu da ste kršćanin. Kada ste kršteni?", pitala je.
"Nikada nisam kršten", odgovorio je Alen.
"Pa, onda niste kršćanin?", glasilo je novo pitanje sudije.
"Nisam kršten", kategoričan je bio Alen.

Planirano je da će suđenje trajati devet dana, a biće ispitano čak 130 svjedoka, uključujući i tri psihijatra, kao i druge sudske vještake.

Alen Rizvanović je 20. juna prošle godine u manijačkom pohodu sa džipom na licu mjesta usmrtio tri osobe, dok je četvrta žrtva preminula nekoliko mjeseci poslije, uslijed povreda. Povrijeđeno je više od stotinu ljudi.

"Pomagači Beča" savjetuju građanima da se za manje probleme pripreme kod kuće - primjerice osvježavanjem znanja iz prve pomoći, ali i kutije s prvom pomoći u svojim domovima.

Građanima Beča su u poštanske sandučiće stigli leci u kojima ih se savjetuje da naprave zalihe vode i namirnica koje se ne kvare brzo.

Predsjednik bečkog pokrajinskog parlamenta, a ujedno i potpredsjednik gradske Ustanove za preventivnu politku “Pomagači Beča”, koja je letke poslala, Harry Kopietz, kaže da je to učinjeno iz preventivnih razloga jer se “uvijek može nešto dogoditi te je korisno u kući držati zalihe vode i hrane za tri dana”.

Primjerice, dodaje, uslijed potresa može doći do prekida opskrbe vodom ili strujom, a bez struje ne rade ni supermarketi.

“Pomagači Beča” savjetuju građanima da se za manje probleme pripreme kod kuće – primjerice osvježavanjem znanja iz prve pomoći, ali i kutije s prvom pomoći u svojim domovima.

Dodaje se u letku da treba nabaviti i “jednostavne izvore svjetla i energije” poput radija, baterija i svijeća, kako bi se u slučaju nestanka struje mogle primiti korisne informacije.

Alen Rizvanović osuđen na doživotnu zatvorsku kaznu

Alen Rizvanović, porijeklom iz Bosne, koji je 20. juna 2015. godine svojim džipom usmrtio tri osobe i povrijedio pedesetak ljudi u centru Graca u Austriji, osuđen je na doživotnu zatvorsku kaznu, prenose austrijski mediji.

Porota Krivičnog suda u Gracu sinoć je jednoglasno ocijenila da je kriv za ubistvo tri osobe i pokušaj ubistva.

Također se zaključilo da je on uračunljiv, iako su dva od tri psihijatra tvrdila da je neuračunjiv, ali su konstatirali da ga treba smjestiti u ustanovu za psihički oboljele prestupnike.

Rizvanović je tokom svog zločina ubio jednog 28-godišnjaka, jednog četvorogodišnjeg dječaka i jednu 53-godišnju ženu, a više od 50 osoba povrijedio.

Tri psihijatra su saslušana, od kojih su dva rekla da Rizvanović pati od "paranoidne šizofrenije", ali je jedan kazao da je bio uračunjiv, međutim, da je i dalje veoma opasna osoba koja je dobro znala šta čini i da je sve planirao.

VIenna: ‘Allah Akbar’ Car Ram-Raid Copycat Attack

VIENNA, Austria — A Turkish Muslim with known terror connections reportedly attempted to recreate last year’s car attack in Graz (pictured above) in an action that occurred just hours after a court found the Bosnian perpetrator guilty of those killings.
Last year a Bosnian Muslim male killed four people in the Austrian city of Graz, using his car to mount the pavements and run down pedestrians at high speeds. The trial for Alen Rizvanović, who lied about not being Muslim, ended in court this week with the attacker being found guilty of multiple murders. One of his victims was just four years old.

The day the verdict was read in court a Turkish Muslim in Vienna attempted to recreate the killing in a migrant-heavy district, while shouting of “Allah U Ackbar” reports Kronen Zeitung.

The attack took place on Quellenstraße at around 11am in the morning and saw the 21-year-old Turk use his car as a weapon in an attempt to run over as many pedestrians as he could. The method is similar in character to recent events such as the Graz attack in June of 2015 and the Nice attack earlier this year which saw 86 people murdered by a 31-year-old Tunisian migrant.

According to witnesses, the man yelled “Allah U Ackbar” as he attempted to cause harm to the pedestrians on the busy street. Fortunately pedestrians were able to jump out of the way of the speeding vehicle and no one was injured by the man who then fled the scene.

Police were called and were able to catch up to the attacker who was promptly arrested and is reported to have screamed “Allah U Ackbar” once again as he was being detained by authorities.

Austrian domestic intelligence were able to confirm that the man had known links to terrorist organizations though did not go into detail on if he had contact with a group like the Islamic state who have often taken responsibility for similar attacks.

The suspect’s name was later released by police who identified him as Ibrahim C. and attempted to conduct a search of his residence when they were met with violence from his brother who punched one of the officers who was taking part in the search. Although the brother was briefly arrested he was later released and claimed that he was merely fighting “state oppression.”

The Associated Press reports police are now interrogating the would-be killer on suspicion of belonging to a terrorist group, and that he is “not cooperating with law enforcement”.

The district where the attack took place was again the scene of migrant violence earlier this week when a mass brawl broke out between Turks and Chechens outside of an internet cafe that led to a nearby bystander being pushed in front of a tram.
