It is a war crime against the civilian population.

The aggressor also destroyed Catholic churches in the Bihać municipality (Bihać parish and Zavalje parish), which are part of the Banja Luka and Rijeka-Senj archdiocese. In addition to churches, the aggressor destroyed parish houses, chapels and cemeteries. The goal of the aggressor was to destroy traces of non-Serbs living in the areas occupied by the aggressor. The number of Catholic Croats decreased over the years; in 1937 there were 5,450, in 1991 there were 3,674, and in 2005 even less - 2,856.
The Church of Our Lady of Lourdes in Skočaj was damaged in the fall of 1992, and demolished in November 1994. Parish Church of St. Francis of Assisi was burned down in November 1994, as was the parish house.
