Secular Humanism (n.) : a doctrine, attitude, or way of life centered on human interests or values especially a philosophy that usually rejects supernaturalism and stresses an individual's dignity and worth and capacity for self-realization through reason, philosophy viewed as a nontheistic religion antagonistic to traditional religion.

The Global Secular Humanist Movement is a social movement that aims to promote public understanding and acknowledgment of the secular humanistic worldview, including economical freedom, equal individual rights and acceptance for people who hold it It was founded in September 2010 by Faisal Saeed Al-Mutar Co-Founded by Gordon Michael Morris.

The movement aims to create an Internet constituency that will pursue the following aims:

- Promote public understanding and acknowledgment of the secular humanistic worldview, which is free of supernatural and mystical elements.
- Gain public recognition that persons who hold such a worldview can bring principled actions to bear on matters of civic importance.
- Educate society toward accepting the full and equitable civic participation of all such people.
- Creating a global community of secular humanists.

My Goal from this movement is to achieve a community of Secular Humanists around the world and create place where people share knowledge freely and emphasize on the importance of SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE to be able to create a peaceful, rational and happy world .

I See we are living in a world where most people emphasize on FAITH like if it was a good thing rather than scientific truth ,faith and ignorance are the main reasons of conflicts they are the motive to drive selfishness.

If people are willing to change they also should be willing to get offended,In Reality tradition, faith and feelings play no role.

from my experience I see Science Education around the world in specially in High Schools fails to give the message of skepticism and curiosity about reality which I think they are the reasons for human development so as society ,Now individuals can get most of science and be able to create a nuclear bomb but they still believe in bronze age myths.

My Dream is to create global rational society so as to give education to all people around the world and give them the chance to listen to many views and be evidence seekers rather than satisfied ignorants.

I hope to achieve my dream with your support.

Faisal's sincerity and passionate desire for a happier globe should be evident to the reader of his words, which compelled me to send him a note of regard myself, after having come across a thread on a Facebook page that he was involved in, as I have done with so many of those that are now part of our friends list, a select group, having been invited for their displaying the same qualities and secular humanist values, shown by their often clever comments in Facebook threads. Natural selection forms the rest of this page group now that it has grown so fast, and I am happy to have laid the foundation of our basic historical and ideological framework, of our mission statements, and our information base in our NOTES and PHOTOS sections, thankful for the opportunity given me by Faisal when he asked me to co-administrate GSHM at its outset.
