Citat: A Briton who lost his American girlfriend during the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina twenty years ago, wants to replace a children playground at the anniversary of her death. 46-year-old Sean Vatcher from Lingfield has asked media in the Balkans for help raising money as he wants to place a memorial stone at the place where his American girlfriend, Collette Webster, a volunteer nurse, was killed on 27th September 1993. Right on the 20th anniversary of her death, next 27 September he also wants to replace a children's playground at the same place at the same location which still suffers from damage caused by fighting. "Collette was fatally wounded by a sniper on the frontline in southern town of Mostar", Sean Vatcher says.  At that time at the beginning of 1990s he arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina having a dream of becoming a photo journalist. He soon became a member of Bosnian Croat military unit HVO (Croatian Council of Defence), but has also fell in love with the American volunteer nurse Collette Webster. "I am trying to raise funds to purchase, transport and build the playground in time for the 27th September this year. Sean Vatcher This is so wonderful, over 200 new likes to Collette's page in the last 24 hours. Myself and Collette always considered Čitluk and Mostar our second homes, it is where we wanted to settle down. Having so many local people liking this page reminds me why we both felt so much for the country and the people, it is like being in touch with home again. To je tako divno, više od 200 novih voli Collette stranici u zadnjih 24 sata. Sebe i Collette uvijek smatra Čitluku i Mostaru naše vikendice, to je mjesto gdje smo htjeli smiriti. Nakon toliko lokalne ljude svidjeli ovu stranicu me podsjeća zašto smo oboje osjećali mnogo za zemlju i ljude, to je kao da je u kontaktu s kuće opet.

I am satisfied with the progress on this, after the initial kick that we gave to this story and urged our friends in media to help, a "splash" of media reports was created and a cascade initiated. Also good to see that Beslic is going to meet with him.
Hope the story will not fade out, we will keep monitoring it for sure.
