I thought the following might be of interest. hercegbosna.org is the 519th most popular website in Bosnia according to Alexa.com, so it must be quite influential.
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/hercegbosna.orgAccording to Alexa (which is -we need to stress - very unreliable for smaller and medium sized websites), until a few months ago we were around the 150th place.
We didin't notice any difference in the site traffic in the mean time (or perhaps we even had a slight increase), due to our internal statistics, which is exact. So even in this particular example we can see how unreliable Alexa is. I think Google Analytics provides a more relevant statistics.
If we drop foreign sites like Google and Wikipedia, hercegbosna.org is among top 100 domestic sites in Bosnia-Herzegovina. If we further consider only the sites dealing with subjects like news and politics, it is definitely among the 20 most relevant sites. And yes, it is quite influential.
The forum itself is by far
the second largest.
And the largest one containing English subforum! :P
Most popular domestic websites in B&H, klix.ba and avaz.ba , have 104.394 and 28.401 Facebook fans, respectively, while we control a fan group of 22.909 fans.
