Majority were in favour to revert back to an older emblem. Keeping our promise, we have come up with a couple of past emblems which will go to a vote at the 2020 AGM. FFA to lift ban on national flags after club identity policy shift

Soccer fans in Australia will soon be free to once again bring national flags to matches at all levels as part of Football Federation Australia's relaxation of rules around club identities.

FFA will on Tuesday release their new 'Inclusivity Principles for Club Identity', which effectively repeals a previous law - the National Club Identity Policy (NCIP) - banning the use of names, logos or symbols with ethnic, national, political, racial or religious connotations.

The new principles still discourage mono-ethnic identifiers but they are not "enforceable, strict regulations", and leave clubs with the freedom to make their own decisions.

Former National Soccer League heavyweights Sydney United 58 will consider the merits of reverting to their traditional name, 'Sydney Croatia', with dozens of other clubs from around the country likely to do the same.

National flags are set to return to terraces in tandem with those throwback names. The Herald can reveal that FFA will now review the current spectator code of behaviour, which has been in place since the A-League's establishment and prohibits "national, political or racial flags or emblems" from being brought into match venues - except for those belonging to any international teams who are competing.

The North American Soccer League (NASL) was the top-level major professional soccer league in the United States and Canada that operated from 1968 to 1984. It was the first soccer league to be successful on a national scale in the United States.

The league final was called the Soccer Bowl from 1975 to 1983 and the Soccer Bowl Series in its final year, 1984. The league was headed by Commissioner Phil Woosnam from 1969 to 1983. The NASL laid the foundations for soccer (or association football) in the United States that helped lead to the country hosting the 1994 FIFA World Cup and the set-up of Major League Soccer (MLS) in 1996.

C.N.S.C. Toronto Croatia (Croatian National Sports Club Toronto Croatia) is a Canadian soccer team based in Toronto, Ontario, that plays in the Supergroup Open Division in the Canadian Academy of Futbol. The team's colours are red, white and blue, similar to those of the Croatian national football team.

The club was founded in 1956 by the Croatian diaspora in Toronto.[1] Initially the team played in various local amateur leagues before making the transition to the professional ranks by joining the Canadian National Soccer League (CNSL) in 1962. In 1975, after a period of dominance in the CNSL, the organization purchased the Toronto Metros of the North American Soccer League and retained their heritage by inserting Croatia into the team's name. Their greatest success occurred in the 1976 season, where Toronto captured the Soccer Bowl. The 1976 team was later inducted into the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame.

In 1979 the club sold its share to Global Television Network and returned to the CNSL. Toronto Croatia became a founding member of the Canadian International Soccer League in 1994, returned to the CNSL in 1997, and the following year became a charter member of the Canadian Professional Soccer League (later the Canadian Soccer League [CSL]). They established themselves as an elite club with a league record of six championships. The team has been among the most-successful clubs in Canadian soccer history, and one of the most-successful Croatian diaspora clubs. Toronto Croatia has a noted historical rivalry with the Serbian White Eagles.

Saznao sam da su Sydney United (Ex. Sydney Croatia FC) i Croatia Toronto bili prvaci. Imal jos slucajeva, da su barem igrali negdje prvu ligu ?
U Njemackoj sto znam najdalje je dosla Croatia Berlin do cetvrte Lige (tada Oberliga) koja je bila vec poluprofesionalna gdje igraci zarade od 1.000€ pa nadalje.

Melbourne Knights su isto bili prvaci Australije.

Nedopustivo je da Hrvati iz Argentine nisu našli za shodno da s Croatijom Buenos Aires osvoje ako ne Copa Libertadores, a ono neku bijednu Apenturu ili Clausuru.

Sad će reć Argentinci su jako talentirani za nogomet. Pa neka su. Kao da je to neko opravdanje. Oho! Nećemo sad spuštati kriterije.
