A film festival dedicated to Ivo Gregurević started in Orašje, and a monograph was presented
With the memory of the great Croatian actor Ivo Gregurević and the presentation of a monograph about his life and work as an actor, the film festival Days of Croatian Film 'Ivo Gregurević' began on Saturday evening in Orašje, which will last until next Sunday.
At Gregurević's last resting place in Donja Mahala near Orašje, his colleagues and worshipers laid flowers and lit candles, followed by the promotion of the monograph "Ivo Gregurević" prepared by actor Vedran Mlikota.
The monograph is dedicated to Iva's acting career, and was presented in the cultural center there.
The President of the "Ivo Gregurević" Film Festival Association and the President of the Organizing Committee, Iljo Benković, said that this year's festival will be opened by one of Ivo Gregurević's old films, "The God Who Gave No Greater Evil" by Snježana Tribuson, in which Ivo plays an outstanding leading role.
The audience will be shown seven more films chosen by the selector at the Pula Film Festival, mostly Croatian productions.
This year, actor Slaven Knezović and director Zrinko Ogresta will receive the main award for contribution to the creation of Croatian film - the statue of Ivo Gregurević, the work of academic sculptor Ante Jurkić.
Over the course of seven days, viewers in Orašje will be able to see the films "Baci se na pod" directed by Nina Violić, "Zbornica" by Sonja Tarokić, "Savage" by Darij Lonjak, "Holiday of Emptiness" by Bosnian director Jasmin Duraković, then the film "Children from CNN- and' by Aida Bukvić, '4:2' by Anđel Jurkas and 'Sila je rubac črleni' by director Goran Dukić.
The manifestation of the 27th Day of Croatian Film "Ivo Gregurević", also known as "Mala Pula", was declared open by the candidate of the Croatian National Assembly (HNS) of BiH for the Croatian member of the BiH Presidency, Borjana Krišto, and is held under the patronage of the HNS of BiH and the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
