Kina je definitivno najveca tehnoloska super-sila 21 veka, bukvalno nema industrije buducnosti gde ne prednjace.

Pogledaj ovu neverovatnu zverinu i onda mi reci da Kina ne moze da proizvode obicne motore za civilni avion u 2022. :zubati

U tom kineskom novom civilnom avionu jeste neki Zapadni motor, ali to je zato sto kineski inzinjeri se bave bitnijim stvarima.

U ostalom danas je ovo globalizovan svet i Airbus koristi cak 60% delova u svojim avionima koji dolaze van Evrope, vecinom Kine.

Prosli put kad je Hamerika sankcionisala Huawei, dobili su da je Huawei napravio svoj cip,

Ovaj cip je rezultat americkih sankcija Huaweju. Ne kupuju sad vise hamericke, nego imaju svoje.

Sada kad su sankcionisali celu Kinu, bukvalno celu drzavu, dobice da ce Kinezi prestati da kupuju te Zapadne cipove za AI i razviju svoje fotonske cipove.

The desired outcome is to kneecap China’s semiconductor development. However, the Silicon Valley giants such as Applied Materials and Lam Research are among the first companies to be kneecapped. More than 30% their sales go to China only 8% in the US. Their American employees in China are put on hold and layoffs are beginning in the US.

Nvidia and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) can no longer sell their most advanced chips to China for artificial-intelligence development. These advanced chips represent these companies’ most important comparative advantage and will mean lost sales in the hundreds of millions. Lost sales are opportunity costs that do not return. The total drop in market cap for the entire industry worldwide is around US$1.5 trillion.

ASML of the Netherlands has virtually a world monopoly on lithographic machines necessary to transfer chip design into actual chips. The company is struggling with not being able to sell not only the most advanced generation but even the older-generation machines to China. These machines go for hundreds of million dollars, and the Biden White House is asking the Dutch company to sit on its hands.

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), Korean companies and Japanese companies are similarly requested by Biden to kneecap themselves for the greater good of keeping China’s chip industry stunted. Apparently, American companies are forced to comply by law, but the non-American companies are stalling in their compliance.

As Asia Times has pointed out, “the [US] Commerce Department’s specifications show ignorance about the technologies involved and confusion – if not duplicity – about the ban’s implications for China’s military. The experts’ group concluded that the new policy was rushed into effect in panic mode, without weighing its civilian or military implications.”

In other words, the embargo order was hastily and sloppily written and leaves plenty of holes and ambiguity for further arguments and negotiations for exceptions. The chips clampdown is supposedly based on security grounds, but American commercial interests will take a major hit as a consequence.

The semiconductor embargo has forced China to work around the American chokeholds. Contrary to Washington’s perception, the Chinese won’t catch up by just copying and replicating silicon-based American technology.

For example, they have been working on gallium arsenide as the substrate for photonic chips that will operate 1,000 times as fast at 1% of the power consumption – which is important for military uses and does not rely on economies of scale essential in commercial applications.

Ovu su inace ti fotonski cipovi, buducnost sveta i buducnost vestacke inteligencije. Tu su Kinezi vec prvi, i jos malo ce ih razviti. Ove sankcije ce samo ubrzati Kinu u razvoju, a zapadne firme ce skoro bankrotirati zbog zabrane izvoza u Kinu.

Nemaju Kinezi samo Huawei naravno, tu je i novi Iphone 14, koji ima 50% unutrasnjih delova iz Kine, kao i 95% svetske produkcije je u Kini. Iphone 14 se slobodno moze nazvati kineskim proizvodom.

Inace za krezavce koji misle da Iphone moze da se pravi bez Kine, trebalo bi im minimum 8 godina, da samo 10% proizvodnje prebace van Kine, zato ni ne pokusavaju to da urade. I ovi kineski delovi sto su unutra su kljucni high-tech delovi.

China has fielded new, longer-range ballistic missiles on its six nuclear-powered submarines, allowing it to hit the continental US from much closer to its own shores, the US acknowledged publicly for the first time Friday.

China’s six Jin-class submarines are now “equipped with JL-3 intercontinental ballistic missiles,” Admiral Sam Paparo, the head of the US Pacific Fleet, told military reporters at a conference in Washington. “They were built to threaten the United States.”

“We keep close track of those submarines,” Paparo said.

In its annual report on China’s military a year ago, the Pentagon said the People’s Liberation Army Navy would eventually gain the ability to target the US from its own coastal waters. Paparo declined to say if any of the six submarines have conducted so-called “deterrence patrols” close to Hawaii.

The Congressional Research Service estimates that the previous model submarine-launched ballistic missile, the JL-2, had a range of about 7,200 kilometers (4,464 miles), giving Chinese submarines the ability to attack parts of Alaska from areas close to China. But the subs would have had to enter waters east of Hawaii to hit the US east coast.

The longer-range JL-3 changes that equation. It would allow China to target the continental US “from a protected bastion within the South China Sea,” US Strategic Command Commander Admiral Charles Richard told the Senate Armed Services Committee back in March.

Some news reports have suggested that the JL-3 could have a range of more than 10,000 kilometers (6,200 miles).

“They’re now capable of continuous at sea determined patrols with their Jin-class submarines” and “more are coming,” Richard said. “They have a true nuclear command and control system.”
