- Iran has the support of Russia, China
- Iran wants part of Armenia


So hypothetically what are your options as christian considering the situation in the country
- low wages
- no jobs
- corruption
- nepotism and private connections
- crime is growing
- UN doesn't want to financially support Armenia anymore
- Turkey is getting stronger financially and diplomatically
- Iran is arming the army, the influence of Russia and China in Iran is also growing
- future doesn't look so bright for you or your children

Iran is saying they don't want war, they just want to live in peace, but iranian people in Armenia are calling for a split and joining Iran.
Turkey acts as a fake friend but under the table their plans are similar to Iran plan, we all know what they did in Armenia in WW2

Relations between Iran and Turkey were destroyed during the war, but today they are getting better and better
What will happen if Iran and Turkey make a deal without Armenia Christians and they share the Armenia between them selfs and Christians in Armenia will stay without the right to vote. Christians will be put in hard situation, without choice

I don't know that I would use Iran in your scenario. Azerbaijan is also majority Shiite as well and given the relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia I think that would be the better comparison.

If anything, Iran would be more of a "protector" to Armenia to limit the growing regional power of Turkey and Azerbaijan, especially if the two somehow decide to grab southern Armenia and create a direct land corridor between Turkey/Nakhchivan and the rest of Azerbaijan. Iran would lose its land border with Armenia and I doubt they want to see that happen. Plus Iran has a sizeable Azeri population in that northern part of Iran...

So the role of protector in Bosnia seems to be taken up by Turkey, but without a direct land border with Bosnia, they are limited to how much protection they can actually provide. https://www.dw.com/en/how-a-turkish-ind ... a-67769270

I think most everything else with your comparison stands, though I do not agree that relations between Croatia and Serbia are getting any better.

I agree with you and i respect your effort to keep the english subforum "alive"

It was a little bit of "provocation" from my side to see if anybody from are english speaking friends would join us in discusion on HBF.

We all know unfortunatlly how armenians suffered genocide just because they were christians and nobody helped them.

On the other hand we all know how much Croatia did for Muslim/Bosniaks.
- more than 400.000 Muslim/Bosniaks were refuges in Croatia Hotels on Adriatic
- more than 3000 Muslim/Bosniak soldiers were taken care of in Hospital in City of Split
- after all Croatian Military saved Bihać (with mostly Muslim/Bosniak population) that was under sieged and was about to fall in hands of serbs
