The Yanks are slowly, albeit very slowly coming to the conclusion that "nation-building" is a process doomed to fail. Interesting fact noted in the article was that Bosnia & Herzegovina received 5x more financial aid per capita ($300 per person) than Afghanistan.
On a positive note, they called Haris Silajdzic a "chauvinist" (alongside Dodik), however, they still don't really get to the crux of the problem.
There is a lot of generic talk about "nationalists", "corrupt elites", "Bosnians", "strengthening the central government" so on and so forth, and a ridiculous suggestion that even more pressure needs to be applied to Zagreb and Belgrade so that they can pull their proteges in line.
All misplaced and way too simplistic observations which keep on implying that the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina would live happily ever after if only these pesky "nationalist elites" could be done away with.
