I find the following interesting for two reasons. First, one of the accused is a Bosniak politician, the only one I have ever heard of to be indicted. Second, the alleged crimes are against both Serbs and Croats. The court only mentions Serbs, but the prosecutor's office mentions Serbs and Croats.

At today’s plea hearing in Mustafa Đelilović et al. case before the Section I for War Crimes of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Accused Nezir Kazić entered a not guilty plea.
At a hearing held on 21 February 2012, the Accused Mustafa Đelilović, Fadil Čović, Mirsad Šabić, Bećir Hujić, Halid Čović, Šerif Mešanović and Nermin Kalember entered a not guilty plea.
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed on 12 January 2012 the Indictment against Mustafa Đelilović and others under which the Accused Mustafa Đelilović, Fadil Čović, Mirsad Šabić, Nezir Kazić, Bećir Hujić, Halid Čović, Šerif Mešanović and Nermin Kalember are charged with the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians and criminal offense of War Crimes against Prisoners of War.
The Indictment alleges, among other things, that Mustafa Đelilović, as the President of the Municipal Assembly Hadžići and in the capacity as President of the Crisis Staff, later Wartime Presidency of the Hadžići Municipality, Fadil Čović, in the capacity as Chief of the Public Security Station Hadžići and at the same time member of the Crisis Staff, later Wartime Presidency of the Hadžići Municipality, Mirsad Šabić, in the capacity as active police officer of the Public Security Station Hadžići and Commander of the Police Station Pazarić, Nezir Kazić, in the capacity as Commander of the 9th Mountain Brigade of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bećir Hujić, in the capacity as warden of the Silos camp and Deputy warden of the Silos camp, Halid Čović, in the capacity as one of the Deputy Wardens of the Silos camp, and Warden of the Silos camp, Šerif Mešanović, in the capacity of Deputy warden of the Silos camp, and in the capacity as Warden of the warehouse in Krupa barracks in Zovik, and in the capacity as one of the Deputy Wardens of the Silos camp, Nermin Kalember, in the capacity as guard in the Silos camp, in the period from May 1992 to January 1996 knowingly and willingly participated in the systemic joint criminal enterprise and by planning, ordering, committing, inciting, aiding and abetting committed the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians and the criminal offense of War Crimes against prisoners of War of Serb ethnicity in the facilities such as Silos in Tarčin, 9.maj Primary School in Pazarić and the warehouse of the Krupa barracks in Zovik.

By order of the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, 8 persons suspected of war crimes were deprived of liberty and 7 locations were searched.
By order of the Prosecutor of the Special Department for War Crimes within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH, the following persons were deprived of liberty:
- Mustafa Đelilović, born on November 13.1955,
- Fadil Čović, born on August 17, 1953,
- Mirsad Sabic, born on August 19, 1954
- Nezir Kazić, born on March 22, 1960
- Hujić Bećir, born on July 29, 1957,
- Halid , born on August 30, 1953
- Šerif Mešanović, born on September 20, 1957,
- Nermin Kalember-aka "Buba", born on October 10, 1969.
The above mentioned suspects are under investigation for suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians under Article 173 of the CC BiH and War crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 175 of the CC BiH.
The suspects:
- Mustafa Đelilović as the speaker of the municipal assembly of Hadžići and at the same time the President of the Crisis Staff – subsequently the War Time Presidency of Hadžići,
- Fadil Čović - as head of the Public Security Station Hadžići and also a member of the Crisis Staff - subsequently the War time presidency of Hadžići,
- Mirsad Šabić - as an active police officer of PSS Hadžići, and from June 1, 1992 as commander of the police station Pazarić
- Nezir Kazić - as commander of 9th Mountain Brigade of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the period from January 19, 1993 to November 4, 1994,
- Bećir Hujić - in capacity of a warden of the camp "Silos" in the period from May 24, 1992 to August 16, 1994, and in capacity of deputy warden of the camp "Silos" after August 16, 1994,
- Halid ČoviĆ - as one of the deputy wardens of the camp "Silos" in the period starting from the formation of the camp "Silos" to August 16, 1994, and later on as the warden of the camp "Silos" in the period from August 16, 1994 until the disbanding of the camp "Silos" on January 27, 1996,
- Šerif Mešanović - as one of the deputy wardens of the camp "Silos" in the period since the formation of the camp "Silos" until June 1992 and in the period from June 1992 to mid-1994 as warden of the camp in the warehouses of the barrack "Krupa" in Zovik, as well as one of the deputy warden of the camp "Silos" from mid-1994 onwards, and
- Nermin Kalember aka "Buba" as a guard at the camp "Silos" in the period from May 1992 until mid-1995.
are charged with having committed the criminal offense of War Crimes against Civilians under Article 173, Paragraph 1, Subparagraphs c), e) and f) and the criminal offence of War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 175, Paragraph 1, Subparagraphs a), b) and c) in conjunction with Article 180, Paragraph 1 and Paragraph 2, in conjunction with Article 29 of the Criminal Code of BiH, and the suspect Nermin Kalember for War Crimes against Civilians under Article 173, Paragraph 1, Subparagraph c) and criminal offence of War Crimes against Prisoners of War under Article 175, Paragraph 1, Subparagraphs a) and b) in conjunction with Article 180, Paragraph 1, in conjunction with Article 31 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
Along with the deprivation of liberty, by order of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and pursuant to the Court order of the Court of BiH, a total of 7 locations were searched with the aim of finding documents and evidence related to the case.
The aforementioned suspects are charged with War Crimes committed against ethnic Serbs and Croats, who were kept in illegal detention in the camp "Silos" in Tarčin, and incarceration facilities in the primary school, "9.maj" in Pazarić, and camp in warehouses of the barrack, "Krupa." A large number of civilians and prisoners of war were unlawfully detained in these facilities, and were subjected to inhumane treatment, torture, deliberate infliction of severe physical or mental pain or suffering, great suffering and violation of bodily integrity or health, deprivation of rights to a fair trial ands forced labor.
As a result of these actions several people have died.
The arrested suspects shall be handed over to the Assigned Prosecutor, during the day, and he/she shall then examine them and subsequently decide whether to file a motion for custody.
