I think the majority should decide. If the majority of the population of Ukraine - it means a reunion of the disunited nation took place. The Polish government recognized Ukraine in its current borders. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Ukra ... s_Republic I think this is a Russian mantra imposed on you.
I'm all for you keeping the western part of Ukraine, despite the fact that you massacred the Poles there during the war, you were the majority in that lands. My point is, you should be the last people on this planet to bitch about the USSR attacking Poland, since you got the most of that territory, not Russia. And you got Uzhgorod from Slovakia in 1945. as well. All gifts to you, provided by the evil Russians. And now you shamelessly became Russian enemies. I think Putin was right to take Crimea back, which was also a gift from Russia to Ukraine.
About Crimea
In 1783, Crimea was annexed by the Russian Empire. Following the Russian Revolution of 1917, Crimea became an autonomous republic within the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic in the USSR, though later, during World War II, it was downgraded to the Crimean Oblast. The indigenous population and the majority are Crimean Tatars disloyal to the Soviet regime. Due to ethnic cleansing and genocide, they were evicted. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deportati ... ean_Tatars Do you support deportation? In 1954, the Crimean Oblast was transferred to the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic by Nikita Khrushchev in order to bolster the "unity of Russians and Ukrainians" and the "great and indissoluble friendship" between the two peoples. It became the Autonomous Republic of Crimea within newly independent Ukraine in 1991, with Sevastopol having its own administration, within Ukraine but outside of the Autonomous Republic. In exchange for the Crimea from Ukraine to the Russian Federation at the same time (the protocol of the Presidium of the CPSU Central Committee No. 49 of January 25, 1954) transferred Taganrog and its bordering lands, over the territory of equal areas of the peninsula in the Black Sea. To this we should add that Kiev received in exchange for rich chernozem regions an arid solonchak steppe, without water, any hint of irrigation, without electricity and energy resources. Now the government of the Crimean Tatars, chosen before annexation, supports Ukraine.
In addition, according to the Budapest Memorandum, Russia will defend the territorial integrity of Ukraine in exchange for Ukrainian nuclear weapons. Do you think that it is right to violate international law and these promises?
About Russia and Ukraine
I wrote that in the Soviet Union there were pluses and minuses. Now see more minuses. Look at the links I threw in early posts. Russia began the war, annexing the Crimea and attacking the Donetsk and Lugansk regions. For it is now being tried in The Hague. You can follow the process if interested. - The Serbs (for example Metemma, Carmello) dont like you because they like Russia. (its some kind of serbian fetish..a kind of an old disease)
Now now, we like Ukrainians. Not those criminal uniatic traitors of Slavs but nice God fearing Orthodox Russian speaking people.
Nothing to do with disease or fetish, Russian civilization is our civilization, Eastern Orthodox, when it is under attack we are under attacks, same those who are stealing Serbian Kosovo are stealing Russian Crimea, Russia is our ally and protector with who we share common values and beliefs.
Something like you and ISIS.

In fact, when I created this topic, I did not want to bow out to Russia. But if you like you can discuss today's news.
Recently, the opposition released a loud revealing video on the vice president. Officials gone from the answer.
Today anti-corruption rallies took place across Russia. The expected peaceful rally ended in repression. What do you think about this, gentlemens? Can someone see the hand of America and the cookies of Europe?

Serbs are the Eastern Slavs? (сouncil: replace the Russian civilization with an Imperial (Internationalistical) civilization. Then the statement becomes more logical) On whose side nice God fearing Orthodox Russian speaking people fought during the Second World War? Why Russia can not win the small organization of IGIL for 2 years?

Eastern Orthodox Slavic: Ukrainians, Belarusians, Russians. Serbs are southern Slavs. Wikipedia is lying? Maybe you are a Serbian separatist? It is known that the Slavs, when they join Russia, become Russians.
They fought against Soviet Union as part of Russian Liberation Army and Russian Cossacks. If you did not know OUN (b) did not cooperate with Hitler and led partisan activities against Germany.

Spare me the crocodile tears about the Crimean Tatars, like you would care about them if they were not anti Russian. Stalin did a lot of bad things, and the Russians themselves were his biggest victims. And no, I do not support deportations. And, correct me if i'm wrong, comrade Nikita (the same one that gave you Crimea) brought them all back, after Stalin died.
And yes, Russia broke the international law when they annexed Crimea, but what did you expect? For them to peacefully watch while the American Navy settles in Sevastopol, after a forceful coup in Kiev!? The point is, you were stupid enough to listen to your American "friends", and stage that coup. That gave Russia an excuse to annex Crimea. If you were smart enough to wait just one year, and then oust Yanukovich legally on elections, you wouldn't lose Crimea, and you wouldn't have a war in the Donbas, because the Russians wouldn't have an excuse to do all that. Now you will never see Crimea back in the Ukraine again, and you will be forced to give some kind of autonomy to Lugansk and Donetsk.
One year of waiting, that was all you had to do. Yanukovich was unpopular, and he would legally lose the elections, and there would be nothing Russia could do about it. But, as I sad, you were stupid enough to listen to the Americans, who wanted a war between you and Russia, and you got what you asked for (or rather, what the Americans asked for). Now enjoy Russia kicking your ass, while your American "friends" won't lift an eyebrow to help you.

Eastern Orthodoxy is English term for православ'я, Serbs are not Eastern Slavs but are Slavs whos religion is Eastern Orthodoxy.

Unfortunatly there were those too. But what are the numbers? Playing dumb again and distorting facts?
