Migrant Crime and Violence Soars in German States

Authorities in two German states have expressed concern over official figures showing a huge rise in migrant crime, with the number of violent attacks having almost doubled in 2016.
“Refugees really entered onto the crime scene last year,” said Baden-Württemberg State Criminal Police Office (LKA) president Ralf Michelfelder.

“We are very worried about the rise in violence by asylum seekers,” the police official added. The comments come following the release of figures which reveal a 95.5 per cent spike in the number of physical attacks carried out by asylum seekers and migrants.

Around 60 per cent of the assaults take place in asylum accommodation but the other 40 per cent are carried out among the general public.

This group of migrants are also heavily represented among people caught for theft and drug offences, according to this year’s statistics. But “they can now be found as suspects of crimes in almost every field”, according to the police official.

Of a total of 251,000 criminal suspects across the state in 2016, 107,417 were foreign, with 25,379 of these being asylum seekers and refugees. Syria was the most frequently seen country of origin in the latter category, followed by Gambia, and then Afghanistan.

In Bavaria, the number of crimes committed by immigrants rose 57.8 per cent from the previous year, a development which the state’s Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann described as “worrying”.

“The increase in crime in Bavaria in 2016 is mainly due to foreign suspects, especially immigrants,” the minister said. There had been a 3.3 per cent overall rise in the number of crimes statewide (the figure adjusted to remove offences like illegal immigration).

The number of homicides in Bavaria increased by 15 per cent in 2016, while violent crimes carried out by asylum seekers rose by 93 per cent to 3,495 cases.

Of thefts which occurred across the German state, 42.8 per cent of suspects were of foreign origin — an almost 1 per cent rise from the previous year.

Earlier this year, the Berlin Senate launched a formal inquiry to find out why migrants are overrepresented in the city’s police crime reports compared to Germans.

According to Germany’s Federal Police, the influx of newcomers from the third world since Europe’s migrant crisis directly led to an increase in crime within their jurisdiction.

German Police Attacked by Group of Young Muslims

Two police in the German city of Hamburg were attacked by a group of several Muslims while out on patrol after the Muslims claimed to have been “provoked” by the officers.
The group of Muslim men were finishing their prayers in a car park when the pair of officers arrived on the scene in Hamburg’s St. Georg district this week. According to the police, several residents on Gdansk street alerted the praying Muslims to the presence of the police who were on routine patrol. The situation soon escalated, and the men attacked the police, Die Welt reports.

Police say that group consisted of five men aged between 16 and 25 years old. “After completing the prayer, they were asked to identify themselves. The men did not follow this [order] even after repeated requests, but responded increasingly aggressively,” a local officer told German media.

During the escalation, the officers managed to get a 20-year-old member of the group on the ground and the rest of the group started attacking the officers to free their friend. An 18-year-old jumped on the back of one of the officers as the others were able to pry the police off of the 20-year-old Muslim.

After calming the situation by using pepper spray on the group, the police were able to call in reinforcements to the scene and arrested four of the men. All of them were released soon afterwards. “The police officers were both injured, but could continue their service,” a spokesman for the Hamburg police said.

Earlier this year, police in Hamburg were threatened by a mob of 100 African migrants after a man of Ghanian descent was banned from a local gambling establishment.

Somalian asylum seeker 'rapes two elderly disabled men in a care home before murdering one of the victims' wives' in Germany

A Somalian asylum seeker has been charged with raping two disabled men in a care home and murdering one of their wives in Germany.

The 18-year-old is said to have broken into the sheltered accommodation in Neuenhaus in the county of Betheim late last year and sneaked into the room of a paralyzed 59-year-old man to rape him.

Police say the migrant then made his way into an adjoining room and raped another man before being confronted by the victim's 87-year-old wife, who is accused of killing.

It is understood the woman was living in the same room as her husband at the Haus am Bürgerpark care home.

The horrific incident is said to have happened in the early hours of October 22 last year.

As he was sexually abusing the second victim, the Somalian is said to have been surprised by the wife and killed her using 'great force' to avoid being caught for his previous crimes, according to German police.

The accused is currently being held in custody in a psychiatric hospital and his trial will be heard before the Landgericht Osnabrück, which is the large youth chamber as jury court.

Police Report: Migrant Crime Drastically Increased in 2016

The German Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) has released a new report which claims that crimes committed by migrants rapidly increased in 2016 compared to the previous year.
The new report from the BKA states that in 2016 there was a total of 295,000 crimes that involved immigrants as suspects, up 90,000 from 2015 when there were 205,000. The police say that the crimes counted did not include migrant specific crimes like illegal entry into Germany or staying in the country illegally Die Welt reports.

‘Child Refugees’ Rampage, ‘Demolish’ Housing Over Lack of Game Consoles

Young Somalis in Mecklenburg-West Pomerania have “demolished” their kitchen and living quarters during a violent “rampage” in which they demanded PlayStations and more pocket money.
Four teenagers have been separated and sent to other residences for ‘unaccompanied minors’ after their violent rampage forced a staff member of the facility to flee to his office, where the 44-year-old locked himself in and called for police help.

The migrants had only been in Germany for two weeks when they became violent, threatening to beat the member of staff tasked with their care unless he fulfilled demands including giving the teens game consoles, more pocket money, and moving them to accommodation in a bigger city.

The Somalis, who are reportedly between the ages of 15 and 17, destroyed most of the furniture and “demolished” the kitchen in their taxpayer-funded living quarters.

According to Parchimer Zeitung, the youths were still rioting when police arrived, forcing police to put them in handcuffs while the situation could calm down.

The German newspaper stated that the four unaccompanied minors will be held responsible for the property damage caused, and attempted blackmail of officials.

Jan Buchholz, who runs the accommodation in Dargelütz, was reportedly taken aback by the violence as the Somalis had only been living there for two weeks, having been sent back to Germany from Scandinavian countries under the Dublin agreement.

The migrant housing operator said the outburst came as a surprise, noting the young men had been participating in a carpentry workshop in the region. “As long as they are busy, they don’t cause us much stress,” said Mr. Buchholz.

However, police had to intervene at the accommodation for so-called unaccompanied minors in Dargelütz just a few days prior to the Somalis’ rampage over what the migrants believed to be insufficient pocket money.

Officers in the operation seized more than 40 grammes of cannabis from a 17-year-old Syrian, who then proceeded to violently resist arrest.

Breitbart London reported on how migrants in Germany last year burned down a conference hall during Ramadan, causing £8.6 million in damages, because they feared Christians and other non-Muslims would eat all the gummy bears and Nutella chocolate spread during the daylight hours in which Muslims choose to fast.

Merkel wanted refugees to be lorry drivers

German Chancellor Angela Merkel in September tried to push through a plan that would allow refugees to be trained and hired as lorry drivers – just months before a lorry was used by a suspected asylum-seeker to mow down civilians during Monday’s Berlin terror attack.

Merkel encouraged companies to hire refugees – even if they hadn’t yet been granted asylum – as drivers and also wanted to make it cheaper for migrants to trade in their foreign driver’s license for a German one, The Daily Express reported.

"We all need to be ready to implement practical solutions,” Merkel said when introducing the idea.

But the Organization of German Profession Lorry Drivers (BDBK) fought back.

“We give a definite no to use refugees as lorry drivers,” BDBK chairman Wolfgang Westermann said at the time. “Professional lorry drivers need a thorough and qualified education. You cannot let everyone drive off in a 40-ton lorry.”
