4/6 , ali vidjet ćeš da se neće ni izvorni govornici složit oko svega. :D
Prvo, ima jedno korisno pravilo preko kojeg si u nekim situacijama siguran da je 100% "at".
U situaciji kada pričaš o lokaciji na nekoj preciznoj točki, znači ne u području, nego točki, onda koristiš "at":
Meni su to ovako objašnjavali:
slika

Međutim i tu ima delikatnih situacija, jer recimo kad pričaš o filmu možeš reć nekad i "at the beginning" i "in the beginning":
Mislim da "at" zvuči više kad pričaš o jednom trenutku na samom početku (slično kao što gore imaš jednu točku), a "in the beginning" se odnosi na period na početku filma.

Slična logika radi i za vrijeme:
"at" se koristi isključivo za precizan trenutak vremena: at 5 PM, at midnight, at the moment.
"on" se koristi isključivo za dane/datume: on December 31, on Wednesday, on Christmas, on the day we met, on your birthday.

Najlakše je kad stvari unaprijed znaš napamet, znači kad 1000 puta kažeš "in the corner of the room", onda znaš da je in the corner of the room :zubati , a s druge strane stalno koristiš "at the corner of the street" i briga te zašto je tu sad odjednom "at". :zubati

Što se tiče figure, u knjigama se češće koristi "in the figure" kad se priča o nekoj slici, iako zvuči glupo.
"diagram in the figure" ima 3 puta više google rezultata od "diagram on the figure". :zubati

Golden rule of learning foreign language is - always learn phrases, sentences or group of words together. Never learn individual words.

Pa sve napamet, da. Jer i izvorni govornici znaju sve napamet.
Što manje razmišljanja to bolje, jer ne možeš fluentno ni pričat ako razmišljaš. Kod nas uče strane jezike u školama ko da su djeca lingvisti.

Šta me briga zašto kažem "hodam po krovu" a ne "hodam na krovu".

You can say either "on the intersection" or "at the intersection".

Sometimes though you have to be aware of the differences in American English and British English.

In the UK they will say "in the street" while in North America they will say "on the street".

*Canadian English is mix of the British and American variants

Is this correct, not correctly.

This is correct.
I did it correctly.

Što se tiče "where" kojeg sam izostavio, nisam siguran za striktnu gramatiku, ali u običnom govoru svi režu gdje god se može, mislim da je za razgovorni jezik ok, a možda sam si dao i malo previše slobode.
To se najprije odnosi na izbacivanje "that" gdje god se može, da rečenica zvuči elegantnije.

Let's go to the next one:
Robbie MO je napisao/la:
2. Translate:
Citat:
Idi tamo skroz dolje i nađi komad sira na stolu, podigni ga, otkini četvrtinu, a ostatak baci.

Citat:
Ne može svatko uspjeti da dođe tamo za manje od tri sata, uostalom vrijeme će se pogoršati a on nea prikladne tenisice za kišu, a nema ih ni Cody. Odvezi nas s autom, a usput se možemo družiti s Veronikom. Što se Robbija tiče, odlično se slažem s njim otkad se poznajemo.

Citat:
Adrian će izaći iz vlaka, Marco će izaći iz zgrade, Noah će izaći kroz vrata, a tvoja djevojka će izaći sa mnom (dok si na službenom putovanju).

3. Find mistakes:
Citat:
The idea is to learn you how to do additional effort in order to achieve what you want.

Robbie MO: I agree with Max. I probably would have answered "at the intersection" in your example, but I know I have said "on the intersection" many times before in reference to a location.

I typed the following sentences in Microsoft Word to see if it showed any errors and it did not.

The shop is located on the intersection of Main Street and Elm Street.

The shop is located at the intersection of Main Street and Elm Street.

I also typed this sentence and I did not get any grammatical errors.

The shop is located in the intersection of Main Street and Elm Street.

So "in the intersection" is grammatically correct but most people would not say "in the intersection" unless something is physically there, so depending on the context all three could be correct in referring where the shop is.

Yes, funny.
We can find similar situations in Croatian, though.
"Trčim u parku".
"Trčim po parku".

Robbie MO: Agreed like your example with with the word izaći (to exit/go out)

We could translate the first part of the sentence as Adrian will exit the train.

You could also say Adrian will get off the train. Probably in any situation you find yourself formal or informal this answer will suffice.

Like in Croatian "sa" could mean from or with depending on context.

Theoretically someone could be "sa Širokog Brijega" or they could be "iz Širokog Brijega" but we would translate both as "from Širokog Brijeg" even though the first answer describes you as being physically from the geographic feature called Široki Brijeg... but I am sure people use both terms interchangeably.

As my old German teacher used to say to me: The key is to think in the language you're learning.

Once you're able to do that, you can say you've pretty much mastered the language.

The logic (haha) in English would dictate that the above two are correct while these two sound incorrect:

I'm standing at the intersection. (What would follow immediately is "the intersection of what?")

I'm in the intersection of Main Street and King Street. (incorrect)

My intention was to create a sentence where one cannot avoid phrases.
Many nice phrases can be used here, and also some alternative ones (that's why we have stecak, max and rory!), so a good example to learn a couple of phrases.

Lider, the first shot is yours.
